Jennifer Aniston would not stand a chance because she is a mediocre actress and she has not done anything big lately. She doesnt have strong star quality to excel her to Oscar. She is more like Meg Ryan or Sandra Bullock- sweet and pleasant but not versatile enough!
She probably will eventually… Brad Pitt would probably get one first because he has more diverse roles, and is in more artful movies for the most part.
The type of roles she usually plays don’t normally lead to Oscars, imo. Brad Pitt tends to do more dramatic types of roles and those will almost always win over light comedies.
Jennifer Aniston if she took a dramatic role instead of slapstick (Bruce Almighty) because Pitt just can’t act period. To me it just seems like he’s reading the part instead of acting.
I like her very much but I don’t think she’s Oscar material.
I don’t care about the “cheater”.
Honestly, Jennifer Aniston is not a very good actress to win an Oscar. She doesn’t have a wide range as an actress and she is not versatile enough to play different roles or make her characters believable. She doesn’t have a great and powerful screen presence that stands out. She is much better on TV, instead of the movies. Brad Pitt might win one because he prove he can play drama, to action, to comedy, and thrillers roles.
