Mini Biograhy: Jessica Marie Alba was born on April 28, 1981, in Pomona, California. Jessica Alba knew she wanted to be an actress from the age of 5. Her career was ready to take off when an agent signed her a mere nine months after 12-year-old Jessica took an acting class.

After making her debut in the 1994 film “Camp Nowhere,” Jessica Alba was cast in the TV series The Secret World of Alex Mack. In 1995, she could be seen in TV’s Flipper, but she became better known for a kidnapping incident during the show’s filming.

In 1999, she had the good fortune of moving on to the big screen with roles in the teen horror flick “Idle Hands” and the hit Drew Barrymore comedy “Never Been Kissed.”

After “Dark Angel’s demise” in 2002, Jessica Alba was gone (but not forgotten) for a short while.

In 2005 she starred as stripper Nancy Callahan in the highly anticipated film “Sin City.” She rounded out the year with roles in more big-budget features like Into “the Blue” and “Fantastic Four.”
